I was talking to a friend of mine the other day - he's an ex-Hindu, and he told me that his sister recently took the shahada, alhumdulillah. However, they are facing some difficulties from their other Hindu family members. I think that we, who have been born into Muslim families underestimate how immense this bounty was from Allah that we don't have to go through the same difficulties that these reverts have to. May Allah make things easy for them.
I also found out last week that one of the brothers who i used to play football with had a brain tumour. Alhumdulillah, it was removed a couple of days ago and i'll be visiting him soon insha'Allah. May Allah give him a full recovery.
