when they're associating the Tablighi Jamat with terrorism.
In my local borough, the TJ are planning to build one of the biggest mosques in Europe, catering for 40,000 worshippers, masha'Allah!
Alan Craig representing the Christian People's alliance claims "Despite its claims to be peaceful and pietistic, specific links between Tablighi Jamaat and various terrorist organisations have been established at their home base in Pakistan, throughout central Asia and also in the US."
If thats the TJ described, who then does he consider to be a moderate? Is it the likes of lesbo Irshad Manji... well strangely enough, it could well be, read on.
Craig poses a number of questions for the Mosque's committee to answer. One of these is "Will the mosque abide by the government’s new Sexual Orientation Regulations? Will they open their facilities for use by gay and lesbian groups? At their mosque school will they – as required - teach that same-sex civil partnerships are equivalent to heterosexual marriage?"
First of all, the CPA could be asked whether the churches that back them also teach the equality of same-sex partnerships and heterosexual marriage? The answer of course will be a resounding no. And this cheapshot looks all the more shameless when you check the CPA's website and note that the CPA themselves oppose equal rights for gays in a press release issued on the same day (30/6/06) that they raised their concerns about the mosque and its stance on gays.
Here is some more on the CPA's press release.

Sheesh, just plain stupid.
But even here in my country, they once deported three active members on the Jamaat.
Tragic!!
You have a very good site bro. I read it daily.
I think that the best thing that the christian ignorant tight arse club that you have mentioned, can do is to spend 3 days with the brothers, perhaps go on jowla, and attend their lectures.
One of the things that the TJ brothers will like is for their critics to spend time with them,... a very great deal of time.
The issue that I have with these christian revival groups, is that they are full of idiots who are form the the lower classes or have at some time in their lives, suffered severe blunt trauma to the brain

Traveller, i had to delete your comment because it was a bit out of order :)
dxb, sign of the times, eh?
anon, the TJ brothers are generally bery humble, masha'Allah, i'm sure the councillor would benefit from spending time with them,
Yeah, sorry about that; just got a bit ticked off after reading that.
I confess I don't know anything about TJ, but I do know that before 9/11 there was increasing rapport between muslims and christians here in the USA, as both found a common opponent in modern/liberal secularism. Unfortunately now, I'm afraid, that too many christians see every muslim as a terrorist, and that too many muslims see every christian as a pagan secularist.
